Chefs of the South, last stop at the Heritage Le Telfair!

The last evening of the “Chefs of the South” culinary festival was held on Saturday 15 May at the Heritage Le Telfair.

The six Bel Ombre Chefs came together for the 3rd time in a festive musical setting at Gin'ja: the Pan Asian fusion restaurant of the Heritage Le Telfair which overlooks the ocean. A unique menu was created by the three Executive Chefs of the Heritage le Telfair, the Heritage Awali and the Movenpick, Enrico Rodati, Philippe Rozel and David Sosson together with the three pastry chefs of those hotels, Emmanuel Bay, Gilles Refloc'h and Ajay Putlarow using the local artisanal products of the Domaine de Bel Ombre and surrounding region.

Excursion in vintage cars in Domaine de Bel Ombre After tasting the local delicacies and spending the night in this elegant refined hotel inspired by sugar plantation mansions of days gone by, the participants enjoyed a two hour excursion in vintage cars along the magnificent coastal road from the Domaine de Bel Ombre to St. Aubin. They also experienced a rum tasting and a tour of the rum distillery.

A fun and original way to discover this beautiful region on the south of the island and to taste its specialties!
